Conditions of stay –<\/span> Les Instants de Dax<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The present conditions of stay define the terms and conditions applicable to the furnished rentals offered by Les Instants de Dax<\/strong>, located at 14 rue de la Fontaine Chaude, 40100 Dax<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

All reservations imply full acceptance of these conditions.<\/p>\n

<\/h2>\n

1. Type of rental<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The accommodation offered by Les Instants de Dax is furnished tourist accommodation<\/strong> intended for :<\/p>\n

    \n
  • short stays,<\/li>\n
  • spa treatments,<\/li>\n
  • professional stays,<\/li>\n
  • medium and long-term stays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Rentals are entered into on a temporary basis<\/strong> and do not constitute a principal residence within the meaning of the law.<\/p>\n

    2. Booking and confirmation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    The reservation becomes effective after :<\/p>\n

      \n
    • written validation of availability by the lessor,<\/li>\n
    • payment of a deposit of 50%<\/strong> of the total cost of the stay,<\/li>\n
    • acceptance of the rental contract<\/strong> sent to the tenant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The balance of the stay must be paid before moving in<\/strong>, according to the terms specified in the contract.<\/p>\n

      Payments are made by bank transfer or any other means accepted by the lessor.<\/p>\n

      <\/h2>\n

      3. Security deposit<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      A security deposit of \u20ac500<\/strong> (\u20ac1000 during the F\u00e9rias de dax) is required prior to arrival, in the form of a secure bank imprint via the Swikly<\/strong> platform.<\/p>\n

      No debit is made except in the event of damage, default or non-compliance with the tenant’s obligations.<\/p>\n

      The bank imprint is automatically removed within a maximum of 72 hours after departure<\/strong>, subject to a satisfactory inventory of fixtures.<\/p>\n

      <\/h2>\n

      4. Current situation<\/strong><\/h2>\n

      An inventory of fixtures is carried out:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • on arrival (or sent in advance if arriving independently),<\/li>\n
      • on the tenant’s departure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        The tenant has a reasonable time after arrival to report any anomalies.<\/p>\n

        Any damage noted after departure may result in a deduction from the security deposit, on presentation of supporting documents (photos, estimates or invoices).<\/p>\n

        <\/h2>\n

        5. Cancellation policy<\/strong><\/h2>\n

        The applicable cancellation conditions are specified in the signed rental contract<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        For information :<\/p>\n

        • in the event of late cancellation, the sums paid may be retained,<\/li>\n
        • in the event of a no-show, the full amount of the stay may be due.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          We recommend that you take out your own cancellation insurance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

          6. Arrival and departure<\/strong><\/h2>\n

          <\/strong><\/h2>\n
            \n
          • Arrival<\/strong> from 5 p.m.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Departure<\/strong>: no later than 11 a.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Personalized welcome is preferred whenever possible.
            In the case of independent arrival, access instructions are sent once all formalities (payment, security deposit) have been validated.<\/p>\n

            <\/h2>\n

            7. Rules of procedure<\/strong><\/h2>\n

            Accommodations are subject to strict house rules, including:<\/p>\n

              \n
            • non-smoking<\/strong> accommodation,<\/li>\n
            • no pets allowed<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
            • forbidden parties and soir\u00e9es,<\/li>\n
            • respect for quiet between 10pm and 8am<\/strong>,<\/li>\n
            • respect for neighbors and common areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              Any serious breach may result in early termination of the stay<\/strong>, without refund.<\/p>\n

              8. Optional services<\/strong><\/h2>\n

              Additional services are available on request:<\/p>\n

              • \n

                change of bathroom linen,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              • \n

                extra cleaning hours.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                Prices are available on request and invoiced separately.<\/p>\n

                9. Liability<\/strong><\/h2>\n

                The lessor shall not be held liable:<\/p>\n

                  \n
                • \n

                  loss, theft or damage to personal effects,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                • \n

                  service interruptions beyond our control (water, electricity, Internet).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  <\/h2>\n

                  10. Applicable law and disputes<\/strong><\/h2>\n

                  These terms and conditions are governed by French law<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                  In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority.
                  Failing that, the courts of the place where the home is located will have jurisdiction.<\/p>\n

                  <\/h2>\n

                  11. Contractual documents<\/strong><\/h2>\n

                  These terms and conditions are supplemented by the rental contract sent at the time of booking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

                  In the event of any discrepancy, the signed rental agreement is authoritative.<\/strong><\/p>\n
